Once you’ve created and saved your Sheetify Bookkeeping invoices, there are multiple ways to send invoices effortlessly to your clients using Sheetify Bookkeeping.
Here’s how you can send invoices inside your Sheetify Bookkeeping template:
If you want speed and simplicity, the good news is you can now send invoices to your customers directly from your Google Sheets dashboard! To do this:
Start by heading to the ‘Setup’ sheet inside Sheetify Bookkeeping.
Under ‘Invoice and Quote Setup’, enter your sender name, email address, subject line, and the message you’d like clients to see in the body of the email.
Open your ‘Invoices’ sheet.
Click anywhere on the row containing the invoice you want to send (you can also select multiple rows to send several invoices in bulk).
From the top menu, click ‘Sheetify > Invoices > Send Invoice to Email’.
A confirmation pop-up will then appear showing the client’s email address.
When confirmed, the system instantly sends the invoice to your customer as a PDF document attachment via Gmail.
The corresponding row will then turn orange, indicating that the invoice has been successfully delivered.
And that’s it! Not only is this method fast and streamlined, but it involves absolutely no tedious exporting or complex Apps Script knowledge!
Prefer a manual option for sending your invoices in Google Sheets? Sheetify Bookkeeping also has you covered!
The template automatically creates a Google Docs version of every invoice you create and then saves it inside a designated Google Drive folder.
This means you can either download the document as a PDF or share the link with a customer online.
Here’s how you can manually send an invoice through the two options mentioned:
Option A: Download as a PDF: Open the invoice in Google Drive, click ‘File > Download > PDF’ and save it to your device. You can then attach it to an email and send it manually.
Option B: Share a view-only link: Open the invoice in Google Docs, click ‘Share’, update the access settings to ‘Anyone with the link’, and copy the URL. You can then send this link directly to your client so they can view the invoice online.
As you can see, whether you choose the automated or manual method, Sheetify Bookkeeping offers flexible ways to send your invoices to clients quickly and efficiently!
